Wyndham Grand Athens Hotel

This hotel fulfilled all our luxurious needs, with exclusive amenities like the Spa & wellness center, Sauna, and Outdoor swimming pool. the massage and beauty treatments were outstanding and the sun terrace offered a breathtaking view. the Restaurant served a tasty in-room breakfast, and the Poolside snack bar was always available.

We encountered one minor issue, as the Snack bar lacked tables with umbrellas. Despite this, the hotel staff was attentive and always on hand to assist us.

Water leaks from the shower. There were 2 beds in the 3-person room, only after my intervention an extra bed was moved

The neighborhood, the neighborhood, you have to get used to the fact that getting to the hotel is very uninteresting, among the abandoned buildings, a lot of beggars, suspects nearby.

At the rooftop restaurant, with its panoramic view of the Acropolis and Lycabettus hill, I started my day with a breakfast buffet that was so rich it felt like a treasure trove of delicious delights. The food throughout the day was as delightful as the view, leaving me in awe of the Mediterranean flavors and attention to detail.

The location, to get to the centre you had to go through very conflictive neighbourhoods and you didn't know if you were in Athens or in Pakistan. Very dirty neighborhoods, with a lot of crime, especially if you go alone or with children.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were modern and well-equipped, and the hotel itself had all the facilities we needed. The view from the rooftop was amazing, and we enjoyed spending time there. The location was convenient, with the metro station nearby and popular attractions just a few stops away. we would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

The room decor is modern and cosy. The staff speaks excellent English and is very polite. The value for money was very good.

Too bad the pool was closed. The quality of the products at breakfast was rather three-star.

The rooms were clean and the view from the rooftop bar was amazing. You can open the windows for extra air. The metro is conveniently located across the square. The staff went out of their way to make amends for a transport mistake. The parking service and rooftop restaurant were also great.

Restaurant on the 9th floor with a very pleasant view of the acropolis. Wide choice of food with good quality. The size of the room and its view. The upgrade offered as well as the 15 min massage, gestures very appreciated. The effort of the guest manager to correct the mistakes of the receptionist who advised us a very bad restaurant at the marina (real scam).

the geographical location of the hotel in a not safe area even if the distance to the centre is correct (approx. 15 min walk). Avoid walking in the evening or with children. It is better to travel by taxi.

As much as they say the neighborhood has good restaurants, it's pretty scary. We thought we'd always walk, but decided to take a taxi if it was dark. There are usually taxis available and they are not expensive

Rooms have huge bathrooms and comfortable beds, accompanied by stunning views. Great breakfast with various options, including omelets. Conveniently located near restaurants and cafes. Eco-friendly practices are evident. Rooftop restaurant shows a panoramic view of the city while enjoying the breakfast.

The room I stayed in was absolutely stunning. The view of the Acropolis was breathtaking! As a young traveler, it made me feel like I was living in a postcard.

Personally, I found the breakfast options a bit limited. But, I guess some people might still enjoy it.

Despite the initial inconvenience, the hotel's staff dispel all doubts in a professional and satisfactory manner.

We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us in our room. The rooftop restaurant provided breathtaking views of the city. Despite some minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

The hotel had excellent transport links, being located near both the metro and a Red Tour Bus stop. It was also conveniently close to the city center and major attractions, with a taxi ride costing only around 5€. The cleanliness and facilities were top-notch, and the breakfast had a large selection and good coffee. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

It is a minor issue, but at breakfast, they reminded you that they close in 20/15/10 minutes, instead of saying at the entrance: "know that breakfast is open until..." that is 10.30 a day and until 11.00am on weekends.

Located near a metro station, this hotel is conveniently close to transportation. It is within walking distance of the touristic area although not in the most appealing environment. The room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable, with a minibar. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing recommendations and free airport transfers. The hotel offers PCR testing on-site. The breakfast is varied and rich, satisfying even the most demanding of palates.

I recently stayed at the Wyndham Grand in Athens for a short trip with friends. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent, with Ms Togo at reception providing exceptional professionalism. From the front desk to the restaurant, the service was outstanding. Our room was always impeccably clean thanks to the housekeeping team. The location was great, close to the metro and hop-on-hop-off bus, with some nice restaurants and a local shop nearby. The highlight was the amazing view of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant and pool. I would definitely book again.

I recently stayed at the new Wyndham Grand in Athens for a few nights with my family. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful, especially Michael at the front door who assisted us with taxis and other arrangements. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and we even got a free upgrade to a separate room for our kid. The hotel's pool was a great amenity, and the breakfast selection was impressive. We also enjoyed the breathtaking view of the Acropolis and Athens from the rooftop. The nearby bakery offers delicious and affordable eats. a fantastic stay!

The hotel is conveniently located next to a metro station, making it very easy to get around the city. It is also close to the center of town and there are several excellent restaurants right across the street. Additionally, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are well-appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast spread is generous.

One downside is that the hotel is not within the pleasant walking area of the touristic sites.

The reception staff were very helpful and kind, always providing useful tips and having an excellent sense of humor. the views from the roof terrace were absolutely beautiful, offering a stunning panorama of the city. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel and the spacious rooms were definitely a plus.

The rooms were in poor condition, with broken curtains and tired decorations. the location of the hotel was also undesirable, with dirty streets, lots of homeless people, and stores with steel roller doors.

Every time I stay at this place, I leave with no regrets. The first time, the staff helped me with local taxi numbers, and now I always return. The amenities suit me perfectly — Wi-Fi, 24-hour services, pool, spa, and more. Coming back for Christmas!
